God's Old Covenant Israel

1. Israel called from caanan to go and live in Egypt

5. At the end of the 40 days he is tempted by Satan and defeats him by quoting from the book of Deuteronomy 3 times.

6. The 12 apostles represent Christ and to be the light of the world.

Galatians 3:16 “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one. “And to your seed,” who is Christ."

Paul is saying that the promises given to Abraham are in fact given to Jesus. So what once originally applied to Israel in the Old Covenant now applies to Jesus in the New Covenant.

Galatians 3:29 “And if you are Christ's then you are Abrahams seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

New Covenant Israel, the seed of Abraham are not the nation of ethnic Israel but the disciples of Christ.
