Dottie Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Stan - - Living in Florida, I've only had the pleasure of getting to Camp Hope one time, just eleven years ago, two weeks after my first grandchild was born. I went to Lacombe to visit my son and his daughter, and they decided to take the baby to visit her other grandmother. It was absolutely the best campmeeting I've ever been to, and I've been going to campmeeting for 58 years! It is a beautiful setting, which immediately makes one think of God and heaven. The sermons and programs were all planned to draw our minds away from the mundane and toward Jesus. Just an absolutely great time! Quote

The conferences who have ceased this, in my opinion have robbed the members of community. We have had an estaminted 7,000 people come at times, and we had under 11,000 members.
