16-Year-Old Stops Burglars at Family Home

And that was exactly what he did. He grabbed a shotgun, something he had used while hunting with his father, and managed to shoot two of the three burglars. A third suspect is still on the run.

Hopefully he gets some counseling. Of course, he would probably had needed counseling if he hadn't defended the home and been robbed at gun point. One of the doctors in our church forgot his garage door open. Intruders came in and beat him with a tire iron.

Wow, what kind of place do you live in? Sounds like you can't turn your back for even a minute there, and it sounds dangerous...

Here, in a place where I have worked the last week or so, people don't even lock their doors...

Both parties had guns. One was the aggressor, one was the protector. I think it's an important lesson in light of the proposed environment where guns are confiscated, the only people with guns turn out to be the criminals and the police. And police is usually too late.
