Moderators lazarus Posted August 16, 2011 Moderators Posted August 16, 2011 Palin's big problem has been that from the day she spoke at the Republican convention in 2008 she has attacked the media. Dan Quayle made the same mistake. The media's response to both of them was to make a joke out of them. Both are incredibly smart people that have demonstrated leadership skills. I think your right. I do think that she gave them a lot to work with though. Look at the way Bristol Palin, Todd and that dude' Levi (can't remember his last name) got into the picture. I can't say she's incrediblly smart. I don't see the evidence for that. Quote: Bachmann has never done anything. How does she get away from that? I see her as a talking head. I saw an interview of her parents saying that death threats have been made against her and her family members. The interview made it sound like she wouldn't put her family through the process and dangers. I would dearly love to see Palin on that stage with the other candidates. On balance, do you believe you have seen more of her on friendly media outlets of unfriendly media outlets?
