bonnie Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Where oh where is the civility president. This poor lady seems to take offense at anyone that thwarts the wishes of her party. .Rep. Maxine Waters: 'The Tea Party Can Go Straight To Hell' Demonstrating once again what passes for civility among Democrats, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) told attendees at a "Kitchen Table Summit" - some wearing the trademark purple SEIU shirts - exactly what she thought of the Tea Party. "And as far as I’m concerned — the tea party can go straight to hell,” she said. Waters made the comments Saturday in Inglewood, CA. The Daily Caller reported: “I’m not afraid of anybody,” the California congresswoman told constituents in footage that appeared on ABC affiliate KABC in Los Angeles, not backing down from comments made about President Obama earlier in the week. “This is a tough game. You can’t be intimidated. You can’t be frightened. And as far as I’m concerned — the tea party can go straight to hell.” Advertisement The Daily Caller reported that Waters' comment drew "cheers from the audience, including attendees sporting purple SEIU T-shirts." Waters' unhinged hatred and bigotry of conservatives is nothing new. In 2009, she called on the media to investigate the racial views of conservatives who opposed Obama's massive health care program after thousands descended on Washington protesting Obamacare. In an interview with ultra liberal Bill Press, she went so far as to use the sexual slur liberals use against Tea Party activists. The Hill reported: "I want those people talked to; I want them interviewed," Waters told the liberal Bill Press Radio show in a podcast. "I want journalists to be all over those rallies and the marches with the birthers and the teabaggers." "What I'm looking for is the very people who carry the signs who are referring to the policies in very, very strange ways like 'Obamacare' and 'Barry Obamacare with Kennedy,'" she said. "What I've been interested in is hearing from those people that everybody's referring to -- everybody on the Mall, in the rally." Referring to Waters as a "Swamp Queen," conservative columnist Michelle Malkin wrote: Calling the civility police. Oh, never mind. It’s an uncivil corruptocrat with a “D” after her name. Go ahead, progs, and look the other way. With this quote, Waters proves - once again - that liberalism is an ideology of rage and hate. She has also proven to the world that she is little more than an unhinged hatemonger who has no business serving in Congress. ---------------------- Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
