Members phkrause Posted August 24, 2011 Members Posted August 24, 2011 A large, well established, Canadian lumber camp advertised that they were looking for a good Lumberjack. The very next day, Avrumel a skinny little yid showed up at the camp with his axe, and knocked on the head lumberjacks' door. The head lumberjack took one look at little Avrumel and told him to leave. "Just give me a chance to show you what I can do," said Avrumel. "Okay, see that giant redwood over there?" said the lumberjack. "Take your axe and go cut it down." Avrumel headed for the tree, and in five minutes he was back knocking on the lumberjack's door. "I cut the tree down," said Avrumel. The lumberjack couldn't believe his eyes and said, "Where did you get the skill to chop down trees like that?" "In the Sahara Forest," replied little Avrumel. "You mean the Sahara Desert," said the lumberjack. Avrumel laughed and answered back, "Oh sure, that's what they call it now!" Parade Orange Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 lol i love lumbejack jokes! Quote All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD"there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.
