bonnie Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 August 28, 2011 Obama Arrested for Drunk Driving Mike Johnson MetroWest Daily News of Framingham, MA ran a story, byline Norman Miller, titled "Cops: Illegal Immigrant Drove Drunk in Framingham." The alleged operator, Onyango Obama, 67, blew a 0.14 on the breathalyzer. The Massachusetts limit is 0.08. Mr. Obama is also accused of driving to endanger, having almost collided with the police car. The MetroWest Daily News story states: Obama has a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement warrant for his arrest. ICE has previously ordered him to be deported back to Kenya. Kerry Picket of the Washington Times theorizes that this Onyango Obama (born 3 June 1944 according to the police log) is also the half-uncle of President Obama, Omar Onyango Obama, born on 3 June 1944 in Nyang'oma Kogelo, Kenya per Picket's theory. President Obama's aunt also lives in the Boston area. Howie Carr, the Boston Herald columnist, refers to her as "Auntie Zeituni." Howie features her in a column now and again (the latest was 5 August), usually pointing out her status as a welfare recipient living in public housing. "What family doesn't have its ups and downs?" as Katherine Hepburn says in "The Lion in Winter." Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman
Dr. Shane Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 I see the Blaze is touting this story. Looks like some cheap gossip one would find in the National Enquirer. Given the Administration's new deportation policy, perhaps this old man will be allowed to stay. I hope he gets some help and is able to stop drinking. Let's keep him in our thoughts and prayers. Members phkrause Posted August 29, 2011 Members Posted August 29, 2011 Wow seems like a story that should be on the front page of every paper across the US. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2

You must be quite busy keeping up with all you do.As I have never read the Blaze I will have to take your word for it. What I find interesting is that Obama living in the luxury he does cares so little about family. The aunt on welfare and subsidized housing is written about as a favorite of his. Maybe that is the way you should treat family but not the way I was brought up. Sounds like this uncle of his may have benefitted from some caring by someone. Dr. Shane Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Sounds to me like Obama is practicing tough love. Good for him. That is so much better than enabling others. I have to give the big O-man a big for this one. God bless our President. Lesser men would have pulled strings and have a scandal falling down on them. Not Barack. He is a man of integrity and character. Doesn't seem to be able to fix the economy but at least he knows how to deal with his family. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Maybe that is the way you treat a elderly relative and have them live on the taxpayer while you live in luxury. For me,I think I could find a way that would not be so demeaning. But I was raised in another generation, you take care of your own and do not shove the responsibility on others Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. bonnie Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 BONNIE WELL that is an interesting article about OBAMA uncle and aunt dgrimm60 I read this right after Obama going on about americans helping each other. He has also said "he could afford to pay more" in taxes. Why doesn't he first care for his own family? Some seem to think a very wealthy man having family members living off the taxpayer and ignoring the law is a sign of integrity. It says quite a bit about the man Obama is. There is no way I would let a favored aunt live on the taxpayer if I could prevent it. My father's sister had lost her husband and did not have any children. She was the last of her generation. She needed help and lived in Idaho alone without any family. It was not convenient/easy as so much had to be hands on It just never would have occurred to my siblings and I to leave her at the mercy of taxpayers. Nor is it something that we felt was in any way praise worthy. Plain and simple she was family. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. bonnie Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 BONNIE THAT was a very good testimony about caring for family dgrimm60 It is a puzzle to me how anyone, whether it is Obama or a private citizen can talk so eloquently about taking care of the poor and let this go. After he has claimed that this woman is a favorite family member. Maybe responsibility for family has been replaced by responsibility of the government(taxpayer).
