Administrators Tom Wetmore Posted September 1, 2011 Administrators Posted September 1, 2011 Not universally a virtue. Quote "Absurdity reigns and confusion makes it look good." "Sinless perfection is such a shallow goal." "I love God only as much as the person I love the least." *Forgiveness is always good news. And that is the gospel truth. (And finally, the ideas expressed above are solely my person views and not that of any organization with which I am associated.)

olger Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 "Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,[15] and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;[16] above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.[17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;[18] praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit." Raphael Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 How about the endurance test of not fainting or not giving up? or perhaps the race between the hare and the tortoise, displaying the contrast between stable will and ability? or the fluctuating dynamics of life's test on so many simultaneous fronts, from health, stamina, wisdom, concentration tests (maintaining focus after terrible exhaustion - like in military training shown in Hollywood movies...), and so many others... please add... Quote Test me with thy might but grant me safe passage. Now, who said that?
