A Biblical principle more important than salvation?

Would that be the God given right to be, say, think, act, the way we wish. Even to the point where our reward will remove us from the possibility of entering the heavenly portals.

Seems like many on this forum don't agree with that and remain seriously unhappy unless the answer given is what is wished to be heard.

"In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike." Matthew 5:45 NLT

I envision God's kingdom to be one where everyone lives to the benefit of others. I believe that the world was created to that end when it was created.

That thought stops me dead in my tracks often.

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

:like:

My wife and I have had the pleasure of coming into contact with a person who was in the U.S. for a short time, from Kenya, from an area comparatively close to where the severe drought has been in Somalia, causing up to 500K immigrants to migrate to Kenya, up from 180K annually just a short time ago.

He is back home now and we are able to keep in contact occasionally by phone or email, and the ability to share some with him and his family at a time when food prices are skyrocketing, to the point of depriving them of what they might eat tomorrow.

I've never felt the joy of giving so much, no matter the amount we've managed to give, through an institution. Would that we might all be able to have such close contact, and feel the same joy of giving to a very close friend in need. And even a closer Friend observes with approval and joy. Even so, come Lord Jesus!

" ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’" Matthew 25:40 NKJV
