teresaq Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 When does God get justifiably angry? A speeding car hits a child. Quote facebook. /teresa.quintero.790
Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted September 5, 2011 Members Posted September 5, 2011 Adults are people, too. Reasons for speeding include accelerator cable breakage, over which the driver has no control. Trying to pinpoint human characteristics on God is a work in futility. IMHO. But it makes for great comments of dissension and arguing amongst people.. Quote Pam Meddle Not In the Affairs of Dragons; for You Are Crunchy and Taste Good with Ketchup. If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
Neil D Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 So, is God Sad over the death of individuals? I'm not sure that he is...death has no hold on God...in the sense of losing his friends forever.....He can recreate them any time He wants... teresaq Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 But does He get angry at, say, a speeding driver who hits a child? Quote facebook. /teresa.quintero.790
Parade Orange Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 GOD does get angry at injustice! He knows the child will be in heaven but also knows the anguish and dispair the family will go thru and GOD knows the parents and family and friends will blame GOD GOD also nows what caused the driver to hit the child was the person speeding to see his wife in labor? did the person not see it? was the person texting or knocked the cherry of his cig and trying to put it out. Did the driver see the child and sped up to hit the child on purpose? GOD went out of HIS way in the OT to SHOW us HIS EMOTIONS cause HE does feel. HE even notices birds falling to the ground. HE watches us cause HE loves us not cause HE is wating for us to blow it. M. T. Cross Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 Well if I were the almighty omnipotent God I would be pretty choked about the fact that the human race has messed up everything so much. Quote

M. T. Cross Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 And as far as I can tell for the most part humans have screwed that up too. Biblically speaking. We were created in a perfect world. We messed that up. So the flood, a new chance. We screwed that up So Christ, a new chance. Mostly all we have done with that is kill people over it. Humans are really a messed up thing. Quote
