Guest Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Forcing companies to have to spend big extra money in bad economic times does not stimulate the economy. Not even in good times does it do that. Companies cannot expand, grow, and hire, while having to spend any extra money they might have, on more stupid government regulations that they hadn't counted on. Anybody who believes that stimulates the economy is thinking bass ackwards. It's just one more hamstring on an already weakened economy. If they really want the economy to boom, they need to let companies and businesses spend their money and do things the way they want to for a while. The longer the better. That's what grows the economy. Just because a company has to spend a lot more money to make a product, thanks to bigger gov't, does not make the demand for the product go up, like he suggested. Quote

As long as Obamacare,higher taxes because of that and all the many regulations is looming since Obama took office businesses pulling in their horns. There is a limit to the expense that can be passed to consumers.There is a limit to the expense a small business is willing or able to absorb. Dr. Shane Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Increased regulations will drive companies overseas. Obama knows that. That is why he is not increasing the ozone regulations.
