As this will be my first camp meeting in June, I would love to hear all about your own camp meeting adventures and experiences. Who has the best camp meetings and which camp meeting is worth a long drive to attend?

The one in beautiful British Columbia is definitely worth the travel! Our speakers love to come back just because the background is so beautiful!

I have been with the ABC for the last 5 years at Camp- Now THAT is an experience! Working LONG 10 or 12 hour days for 10 days... One gets pretty pooped but I LOVE being with the people. It is incredible. The Holy Spirit is definitely felt, by me, anyway, in the people I speak with at Campmeeting.

I don't have the dates for ours, but perhaps Stan can fill it in.

Please, folks, use the Calendar and fill in the dates of your local Campmeetings, so that anyone having one close to them and no access to church info can attend.

Yes, BC Camp Meeting is one of the best in North America! This year it is July 26-August 3 and I had already put it on the calendar some time ago.

On our first weekend this year we have the Melashenko Family Reunion tour and the speaker is Lonnie Melashenko. The last weekend we have Michael Ryan from Global Missions and a Sabbath School missions pageant. The last Saturday night is the major celebration of 100-Year Anniversary of the formation of the British Columbia Conference.

Workshops include Ron and Nancy Rockey doing a Binding the Wounds seminar and others.

Each evening there is a Singles Ministries meeting activity from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm in our own tent. All singles are welcome!

Our here in Central California is in a small town Soquel. On weekends over 5,000 people are there. This is my favorite place in the whole world, i wouldn't mind living there (cept i'd miss my tv, computer, radio etc) after so long, but the 10 days we have it i don't miss it at all.

This year Don Schneider will be there, Henry Wright, Jose Rojas (he's a regular here at campmeeting).

Steve Bohr if not preaching he still comes over. for the spanish tent Augustin Galicia (VP of GC).

A year or two ago, i saw at least 5 people from the high level GC ranks.

I love campmeeting in beautiful Southern Minnesota!! lol we always have interesting weather... last year it rained almost all week and flooded a lot of people out <img border="0" title="" alt="[smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> the year before there was tornado warnings for like three days. we still have a great time though! one year i left my contacts in overnight and my eyes dialated so badly that i couldn't go outside. i made it to the lobby of the administration building (campmeeting is held on the campus of our academy in Minnesota) and i sat in that lobby for 13 hours with my best friends in the world! <img border="0" title="" alt="[smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> fun times!

Yes, the Singles Ministries tent is the place to be in BC. Last year, I heard about it for weeks afterward and was sorry I didn't make it there. This year, I am going to try and sneak away, if possible, to catch some of the fun <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
