GOD said He had to take away THE TREE OF LIFE from ADAM N EVE cause they will be like GOD -living forever and having the KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD N EVIL. in the whole entire univere in eternity there has never sinless beings who knew GOOD N EVIL. we as GODS children will ever tell and ever proclaim inside info regarding GODS GRACE and mighty POWER to beings who never fell. as humans our depths of pain and sorrow and then redeemed will ad a new perseptive of just how GOD is. the sinless created beings of other worlds will delight and give them even a new apprectiation of just how great our GOD is. every heart will thrill hearing our story. face to face with this beings. GOD also says WE will sit on the THRONE with HIM. wE WILL HAVE A SPECIAL privledge of maybe seeing the multi universes from a different angle than other beings. FOR ALL ETERNITY we will look ar creation from maybe outside TIME and SPACE. to peer into creation and see and proclaim what other beings have maybe misssed or havent seen in HIS fulness. HE will again walk With His creation as HE did before sin. And as He did in sin 2000 years ago. We will be distinguished as GODS CHILDREN. little Wisps of His Glory. WE WILL RECOGNIZE HIM not only as GOD but as PAPA! We will climb on DADDYS lap for eternity. we know whats its like to maybe not have a father who is so into us and to beem into HIS EYES and see NOTHING BUT LOVE AND ACCEPTANCE even at our worse. I believe to some extent that will never be lost on us HOW HE really really Loved a broken image in eternity back. Raphael Posted September 14, 2011 Author Posted September 14, 2011 Correct Parade Orange. Saved humanity will have the eternal unceasing company of God. And there will no more be darkness (night) because God will live with His people. Interesting to note that when something is considered most precious, it would naturally be held closest to one's heart. Is that what will happen with saved humanity? Question is, what is so special (what's da benefits) of being close 'in proximity'? It must have something to do with that illustration of the groom and bride, where when Christ was on earth, it was considered that the groom was still present, while after His departure, it was considered a time of trial or vigilance cause the groom's gone... but the problem is, this illustration dwells on the time when sin still exists, unlike in that future story. Can someone please help explain the benefits of being in eternally close proximity with God (in that eternal life) in comparison to those without (other intelligent creations aside ministering spirits, would not be living together with God)? skyblue888 Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 I would like to suggest that it is not so much because of the proximity but because the redeemed will have, through God's great grace, become members of the Royal Family. In other words, through living faith they will have become partakers of Christ's nature, a nature FAR ABOVE that which Adam forfeited by transgression. (2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 15:45-49) Adam had a perfect nature in Eden but after the fall he, through the merits of Christ, fallen though he was, could now become a partaker of a nature which is far above that which he possessed in the garden of Eden. Then he was lower than the angels but not any more. This nature of which fallen man can become a partaker of is so far above that it is a marvel to the sinless angels who excel in glory and it is their great joy to see that the redeemed will be forever one with Christ and the Father, a fellowship with God which is even closer than they themselves can know for, "It is the privilege of every believer in Christ to possess Christ's nature, a nature far above that which Adam forfeited by transgression." E.G. White, The Upward Look, 18. This is the "unspeakable gift" the apostle Paul is talking about in 2 Cor.9:15. Notice these words: "Christ places His own merits upon man and thus elevates him in the scales of moral value with God." E.G. White, Our Father Cares, 121. Holy! All they can do is praise And so much the more will it be with us, who realise from experience what sin is and what it has cost to redeem us. The theme of salvation will engage our interest forever as our understanding of it continues to grow. It's like an earthly scientist: he can study just one area of creation for his whole life and never know everything about that subject. I like to think of salvation being one of those topics. I imagine it to grow deeper over time. And at every revelation we will, too, cry, Holy! and Alleluia, for the Lord God omnipotent reigns!
