MaranathaRO Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 SEE PHOTO HERE: Maranatha Romania www.maranatharomania.net For many of us, having bread every day on our table is something normal and ordinary. But, for others, having some bread is only a dream. Single old people, helpless. abandoned by their families, wander daily among us looking for a piece of bread. In this situation are 11 elderly people to whom, within this humanitarian project, the Association Maranatha Romania Adventist Mission wishes to offer bread and daily nourishment. The humanitarian project “A slice of bread for an old man” was supported this time by VelPitar, who donated 75 loafs of bread within this humanitarian project. For 2 weeks, these 11 old people we take care of shall not lack bread. Maranatha Romania Adventist Mission wish to heartedly thank VelPitar for their involvement in this humanitarian project. For the ones who wish to support us further in this project, providing bread to poor, old people, they can contact us at the e-mail address: maranatharomania@gmail.com Maranatha Romania Adventist Mission www.maranatharomania.net Quote
MaranathaRO Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 SEE PHOTO HERE: Maranatha Romania Adventist Mission www.maranatharomania.net During our Adventist Mission actions carried out in 2007, we met Alexandra, who was a small girl at that time. Now, she has grown up and she is in the 7th grade. Alexandra was abandoned by her father and lives together with her mother in the Caras Severin county. Unfortunately, her mother has an amputated foot and all the household work is done only by Alexandra. Within our Adventist Mission actions, for 5 years we have been helping this family on a yearly basis, with food, firewood, clothes and school stationery. This year too, within our adventist missionactions, Alexandra was helped by means of our sponsors with school stationery and food. We thank our sponsors, involved in this project. MaranathaRO Posted September 18, 2011 Author Posted September 18, 2011 SEE PHOTO HERE: Maranatha Romania Adventist Mission www.maranatharomania.net Poverty strikes, first of all, among elderly people. Many of them have very small retirement pensions, they are alone, helpless or abandoned by their children. For 6 years, the Association Maranatha Romania Adventist Mission carries out, with your help, humanitarian projects, aimed at helping these persons. This time, the adventist mission project consisting of food distribution took place in the Bihor and Caras Severin counties. One sponsor desired to get personally involved in this humanitarian project. He came with us and visited each elder person separately, bringing packs of food for each one of them. Together, we witnessed the tears of joy, their words of gratitude and a pleasant smile on the sad faces of these persons, over which many years have passed. We thank our sponsor who got involved in this humanitarian and adventist mission project. Below, we present you several photos from this humanitarian project.
