I was curious, so I started the stopwatch on my phone, then took out a Bible and began to read to help pass the time. I read Psalm 2. And it hit me- Psalm 2 is about the Messiah, God's anointed! It is about Jesus. It is one of the verses quoted in Hebrews 1, where God is calling Jesus not only Son, but God as well. Psalm 2 was firstly about David, who is also a "son of God," but you can easily see the double application. Can you share some other places where you see Jesus in the Old Testament? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
