What I find astonishing is that so few Americans apparently seem to care or even notice. I think if Kennedy were alive, he would write a book, While America Slept. It would make a beautiful companion piece to his first book, While England Slept.

Here are some comments on the opening Stalin quote:

I also looked through the following sites but couldn't find anything close to the OP quote:

I think it would be much more likely for him to have compared America to an unhealthy body due to, say, capitalism.

If someone can show me that quote with a reputable attribution to Stalin, maybe I'll think the rest of the video is credible to some extent. Otherwise, I repeat:

Here's a newspaper article about Representative Curtis Bowers of Idaho. It shows that he was a Congressman and that he did write an article in the newspaper just as he says he did in the video.

Are you claiming that the communists in 1958 did not have the goals that are stated on this video?

I know that they did, because as a kid, I read communist material, and then when I was 22 years old I joined the communist movement, becoming a member of the Young Socialist Alliance, the youth wing of the (Trotskiest) Socialist Workers Party. I studied the revolutionary communist movement and helped organize anti-war demonstrations and pro-abortion debates on college campuses.

Here were (& are) some of the goals for America:

1) Eliminate prayer in public schools.

2) Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

3) Get control of schools and soften the cirriculum.

4) Eliminate all laws governing obscentity.

5) Breakdown cultural standards of morality.

6)Present homosexuality as normal & healthy.

7) Infiltrate the press, gain control of key positions in the media and entertainment industry.

8) Infiltrate the church-- discredit the Bible. Replace revealed religion with social religion.

Can anyone honestly claim today that these goals have not been largely realized since 1958? Compare how life was in the United States in 1958 with the way it is today. These things did not simply happen by chance but they were due to the deliberate planning of people who want to see the US become a socialist country.

I don't know about the quote from Stalin, but I do know that almost everything else in that video can be verified. You can buy the book online and read it for yourself, and Curtis Bowers was an actual Congressman from Idaho who published the article in the Idaho newspaper just like he said he did.

Apart from the quote by Stalin (which has yet to be verified), what is in the video that you believe is a lie?

You might be surprised to know that except for the quote from Stalin, almost everything else in the video is easily documented.

I can't vouch for the quote yet, but I will either verify it or say it is false or simply unknown.

Even if it is just one lie, Bravus? Surely just one lie makes the rest ok?

Reminds me of when the people were starting to do something about congress' pay and raises. Next thing I knew the finger was pointed at welfare and illegal aliens.

Meanwhile congress is still the biggest welfare recipient around with the ability to vote themselves raises and spend tax dollars on themselves at will.

It pays to point fingers elsewhere, tends to work with the American public mob mentality.

I'm going to find out one way or the other about the supposed Stalin quote.

The quote is:

I think this is error. Stalin was not stupid, and he did not believe his own propaganda about the USA. He had agents here. He knew our strengths. He didn't believe that our capitalist system was "unhealthy." He knew it was strong because of what the capitalist system did during World War II.

I've read quite a few of Stalin's quotes, and I believe his quote here is very much like his style. He wrote generally in short sentences, similar to the ones in the quote. Google "Stalin quotes."

But as I say, I'm going to find out if he said it or not. I would not be surprised if it is a genuine quote. The rest of the information on the video is accurate. The Congressman did write the news article and he did quote the book, The Naked Communist. The communist goals are accurately listed in that book, and a great many of them have been already fulfilled or are in the process of being fulfilled.
