Stan Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. RIP Steve Jobs.... Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. Einstein
ClubV12 Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 So sudden a departure. I would guess, like myself, most folks had no idea his end was so near. I had assumed he retired to spend some quality time with his family, which I assumed would be considerably longer than it was! How sad. The matter rest's with God now, I trust in that divine wisdom to do what is right and just and merciful. A time to reflect: All the good deeds a man does on earth are blotted out if he has not accepted the one name under heaven given among men whereby we can be saved. The only record that remains is of the sins committed and the penalty must be paid by the one who committed them, personally. For those who have accepted the grace of God, the evil doer will pay, personally, for those sins. He knows this and it is fundamentally what drives him to make sure whenever possible we end up paying for our own trangressions, so he doesn't have to. Quote

Administrators Gail Posted October 6, 2011 Administrators Posted October 6, 2011 From what I've read of it, it seems like a great speech. I surely hope that Apple can do him proud and carry on with being so motivational in the world. Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
