David, 8, is playing with his little sister Talia, 6. They go into their parents’ bathroom and Talia notices the scale in the corner. "Whatever you do," cautioned David to Talia, "don't step on it!"

"Why not?" asked Talia.

"Because every time Mommy does, she lets out an awful scream!"
