The songs were all familiar christian songs and they ended up singing "Ave Maria". If they did not wear their priest's garb I would not have know they were priests. This is my question. As much as I was impressed by their singing, do you think God was pleased, knowing some of our attitute toward Catholics? Won Quote

What is in our hearts. And we can't say what is in the heart of others. Won Was God pleased even tho many of us SDA have "attitude" towards Catholics? Good question to think about. God knows hearts. He doesnt't go by appearances. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.

How are we responding to the light we know? The advantage of more light is that it is more knowlege of God and thus opens the possibility for a deeper love for God. Between the picture of a god who needs apeasment and a God who loves you can affect our relationship with God. Between a picture of a loving God who does not care what you do, and a loving God where love is strong and encourages the best in you also affects how we relate to God. Whether we see life as a life of woe that we keep repeating unless we live a neutral life, neither good nor bad so that we can get off the cycle, or seeing a God who will burn you in the heat of a fire the same nature as when you light a match or a volcano forever and ever, or a God who only burns you long enought to spank you for your sins then kills you, or if you see God as all loving and your deepest desire, however we make choices where either we find it heaven to be with him, or where we make a habit of refusing to come to him and refusing to have our lives improve and want to hold on to our grudges and therefor find God's pressence to be highly uncomfortable all plays a role in how we can relate to God. Yes, Protestantism has more light than Catholisism, and while not as much as Protstantism, those who have accepted Vatican II have more light than those who rejected Vatican II, but is there any Protestant church so perfect that we should push Catholics out of their church into another church? Some one who is reaching out in love to God, and willing to hold on to God no matter how hard things get, whosoever commeth unto Jesus will in no wise be cast out. Quote
