Members phkrause Posted October 31, 2011 Author Members Posted October 31, 2011 I wonder who this would hurt more, dems or reps? It seems this always hurts the party that they come out of to run! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Dr. Shane Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 It could hurt the Republicans a little but Paul is 77 years old and very much a Libertarian. Anderson ran in the general against Reagan and Carter in 1980 and Reagan still managed to win with just a little more than 50% of the vote. Many argue that Ralph Nader cost Al Gore Jr. the presidency in 2000. He probably did cost Al Gore Jr. Florida but if Gore Jr. had won his home state of Tennessee he wouldn't have needed Florida. I thank God that Al Gore didn't win, LOL. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
