Quiting My Work As Moderator On ClubAdventist

I will continue to post as usual, but I am quiting my work as moderator.

I am an administrator on two other Adventist forums and need to spend more time on them. It's been a great 6 or 7 years moderating on the ClubAdventist, and my thanks go to Stan and Gail for it.

I've been thinking of making this move for about 2 months. This will give me more time to do what brought me to the Forum in the first place, which is writing.

God bless ClubAdventist and everybody who comes here.

See ya'll around! :-)

John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. [17] For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

I look forward to your future posts John and God bless in what ever endeavors you under take.

In spite of our clashes and disagreements I too wish you God's blessing. I am sure we both will continue to post and disagree but in spite of those disagreements I Love you in God and wish the best for you.

What you write is well thought out, and worthwhile for me to read.

Hey Bro; I will have to say just one thing right now. As long as you are here on the forum; I don't mind if you are Moderator or not. Although the forum could use you to delete my errant posts when they arise? LOL, you were always a fair Moderator to me; and like I said as long as you are not abandoning us!!

Just wanted to say this, over the past number of years, 6 7 or 8, I have appreciate the work, and labour of love that John317 has put into this forum. We have met in person and dined together and I have a lot of good memories and experiences with my friend John317.

There are days that I wish I could take a break from here.

I am relieved you will continue to post John. In the short time I've gotten to know you, you have helped me want to learn more about God. For that, I will always be grateful.

It is then no small blessing that, as apologist, you’ll continue to contribute the odd and/or timely contrapunt.

Lucky, lucky..., guy.

Sorry to see you give up the post, John. You have done a great job in my opinion.

Good point .

There are a few "I ban you because you are not me" deputy-sherriffs that might want a crack at John317's job. Hopefully they are so busy banning posts in their respective areas of the board that they just don't want to take on more roles.

Time will tell.

Not sure if it's a "good point" or not - but it kind of goes along with your judgment on other Moderators. Change has to come from the top. And some are trying. Atleast that's a start. Better than going backwards.

Thank you very much, Stan. I hope we can meet again. Maybe when you come down this way, we can go to the Spaghetti Factory. I know doug yowell would like to meet you. Not sure who else living in this area would be able to meet there. By the way, doug's not able to post right now because of a problem with his computer, but he intends to have it working again in a few days.

So many have said so much, all I can think of is, "Missing you already". But if here, not there where we can plan for something better and more soul satisfying.
