There is concern in Washington about the results of all these uprisings. It leaves a power vacuum for sure and the fear is it will be replaced by radical Islamists. Worse than what was there before? Hard to say, what was there before was pretty brutal. But God is ultimately in control, He will work it out to His end. Persecution has only proved to strengthen and purify the church, never remove it.
