Stan Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 About 10 years ago, I was at this small Church in the middle of my province. There were maybe 10-12 people there to celebrate the Sabbath together. Like many Churches in smaller towns it was not growing. This past weekend they had 51 people in Church. I was not there as I had other obligations in another part of the province. I was at that Church Friday, and returned Sunday. (Different projects) Why the growth, when Churches don't grow any more?? They serve the community. Sunday they provide a NICE meal for those who need such. AND GUESS WHAT? The even provide meals for those who will not work. They understand that broken people often can not for various reasons. Those who have lived a pain free life may not understand that, and yes I am talking to some folks here. In this town of about 8,000 they will often have 120 people come through.. they not only give them a nice meal, which I enjoyed as well, but care packages to help them out. the first care package, I will upload includes a roll of toilet paper, chicken soup, brownies etc They can have a small bag of potatoes and onions. Loaves of bread and more. Enjoy the photos.
