aka Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 []http://www.clubadventist.com/ubbthreads/attachments/168413-artpeaceful.jpg[/] For those not yet in the know, I recommend some nice background -clean soft Christian- music to listen to when doing PC work. Christian Radio at www.wordoftruthradio.com For the first time turning on the radio is to click on “Trouble Listening?” and copy from the text the url http://www.live365.com/play/289768 and manually insert it into the “open url…” of my file menu in my WindowsMedia program. I made a bookmark icon out of it and it is in my visible taskline for Forums for me to click on quickly when I open the browser. I keep the browser window open of homepage of wordoftruthradio.com. To do other Forum or Searches, I open another browser window so both are going at the same time. One doesn’t have to keep the homepage open if listening to radio on one’s audio/visual program. But I do because of the interactive features being shown live there as I am listening. The homepage is showing the live number of listeners; a small avatar of the album cover when each present single is being played; a choice of vote-range so if I like the music I can cast my vote and thus steer (perhaps) the choice of future music choices (nice interactive feature); a list of the top 20 tracks the listeners liked and the chart of the last three tracks played. And much more… What just happened now this minute as I was listening really surprised me very pleasantly. The radio program blended in for us listeners Amazing Facts Doug Batchler’s lecture on Jesus in Gallilee. The length of the program from Sacramento Central church will now last me 48 minutes listening time according to the time-counter on the website of Word of Truth radio.
