Did it occur to anyone that this so called "affair" started while he was fighting for his life because he had Stage 4 Cancer? My guess is that when you are fighting for your life and you are that sick from treatment, you are not going to be all that amorous. Just my opinion.

Over the past few years I have watched five friends and one acquaintance,two family members fight stage 4 cancer.Five have survived and and three did not.

The idea that someone would carry on a "casual/fun" affair while fighting stage 4 cancer defies imagination.Treatment is brutal.

The oncologist treating my SIL warned her early on,he would almost have to kill her first.

One was a co-worker of my husband,it took every ounce of energy he could summon to try to work part days.Many times laying in the grass vomiting his insides out.

Every one said during that,"they no longer were afraid they would die,many times they were afraid they wouldn't" and this is the way life would be.It is pretty doubtful someone engaged in this behavior for "fun' would be to interested in a partner going thru that.It is as tough in ways on the spouse or caregiver as the patient and takes commitment.

She claimed to come forward because she was afraid someone else would. Yet no one seems to have known anything about this for 13 years. I am sure that if necessary there will soon be some.

What on earth does a preference for dating black men and black women's hair have to do with anything.

I would still like to see a little bit that ties them together.

Someone over thirteen years that saw them together as he was flying her around,gifts,something more than a couple of autographed books.As a woman that was sued for stalking and always in financial trouble she is hardly the most credible to come forward on something like this.

It is an obvious lie on her part she did not wish to hurt Cain's wife and family. If that were the case go to both first,insist Cain drop out of the race or it will go public.Otherwise,unless she is a complete idiot she knew exactly how it would hurt his family.

Any woman that says this was a fun/casual sexual relationship,knowing he was married, and now claims to be humiliated is full of it.She has her fifteen minutes of fame.

Is he guilty? I don't know but have a few doubts. I do know for a fact you don't know either.

Doesn't matter who it is if this was prompted by others for pay or a few minutes of fame it is despicable and those that would do so are more than despicable.

It will be Newts turn next. Nancy Pelosi,the queen of ethics has promised it would be. There is a good chance Newt will take it to her as not to many can.

What troubles me about this whole (Clarence-Thomas 2.0) saga is that we'll see increasing use of the tactic of unproven allegations of sexual infidelity to drive candidates from races. The next person faced with such should calmly state: "When you bring forth convincing proof, not unproven accusations, I will respond. Until then, I will ignore you--as you deserve to be ignored."

Hate to break it to you but didn't have a source.It is the same thing I have thought since I first heard it.

Some can actually form opinions and come to conclusion without the benefit of either conservative or liberal talking points.

To listen to the accusations and question what is being said

and wonder why??? it is something you should be able to do as well.

Are you trying to say that you proclaimed there to be no evidence for Cain having an affair without any source for that information? No plane tickets, no hotel receipts, no eye witnesses - no evidence at all. You came to that conclusion all by yourself without any sources? How is that possible?

It matters as a human interest story. An injustice may have occurred. However where there is smoke there is normally fire and there was a lot smoke there. A group took out a full page ad in a Texas newspaper inviting any mistress of Rick Perry to come forward and got no response. Clearly there is no fire there.

In respect to the Presidential race, it doesn't matter. Cain was never a serious candidate. He ran for positioning reasons. 9-9-9 sounds much more like a pizza ad than an economic plan. He had no chance of winning so his dropping out "doesn't matter much".

First I guess because I do not sit glued to any radio or TV station during the day. Many times I hear the local news media announcement and little else before I start to question.

Second I did not say there was "no evidence" your words again.

What I did say was "I would still like to see a little bit that ties them together". That goes for all the alleged victims.So far we have "she said,he said".She may be telling the truth but no one knows.We know she was in trouble for stalking/text messages/e-mail and that she tried to destroy another.

From personal experience, I know if you are going to destroy anyone publically/professionally and maybe personally if you go public you had best have your ducks in a row.

It is not something to be taken lightly or for a few minutes of fame.

Common sense would tell most people that unless this was a "affair" behind closed doors,never going out,taking place in her home only,the likelihood of doing so without being seen is slim to none.

I would like to be able to compare her claims of flying here and there,especially if during the course of stage 4 cancer treatment to Cains.

I would like to see someone at least minimally credible come forward and say they knew,saw them.

As to the text messages and phone calls I would like to see the content. This woman certainly should have no objections to that.

None of this takes talk radio.It does take common sense
