Moderators lazarus Posted December 5, 2011 Moderators Posted December 5, 2011 I don't normally agree with George Will but I think he's spot on here... "oth parties have to do some serious thought as to whether they can develop some filter to prevent this process, particularly with made proliferation of debates from being hijacked by charlatans, entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial charlatans, Asked to identify the candidates he had in mind, Will first mentioned Cain, "who used this as a book tour in a fundamentally disrespectful approach to the selection of presidents." He also called for presidential candidates not to participate in the upcoming presidential debate moderated by Donald Trump. "Now, we have a December 27th debate proposed that would be moderated by Donald Trump," he said. "Surely it is time for these candidates to do something presidential, stand up and say we're not going to be hijacked and participate in this." http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.c...harlatan/236756 Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. Moderators lazarus Posted December 6, 2011 Moderators Posted December 6, 2011 There are at least three reasons why Trump shouldn't moderate a debate He might run as a third party candidate. He said he would endorse after the debate, which gives him inappropriate leverage. His natural gifts are more aligned with being a ring master in a circus tent rather than the moderator of a Presidential debate. Woody Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Well someone has be be moderate. It might as well be Trump. This nation has seen far too many extremists such as Obama. Time for a moderate. Time for a moderate. Moderate? Who Trump? Come on Woody, you can't be serious. He is the most Liberal person in the public eye that I've ever seen. You clearly think that just because a person claims to be a republican he is automatically a conservative. I find that to be the problem with politics, LABELS, labels, and more labels. I just meant he is more moderate compared to Obama who voted 99% of the time with the liberal side when he was in the Senate. And has most recently just destroyed this nation with his liberal policies. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
