Maybe he decided it was not worth the stress to his family. Of course,why not?Whether one accused is guilty as accused or not there is a time to re-evaluate damage to family,innocent or guilty,damage to party in this case and damage to the overall view of the country. As a side note we knew Ted Kennedy and Clinton were guilty as accused,we know that Ted Kennedy was involved in the death of a young woman,we know what Clinton did with Monica,we know he lied under oath.We know they did not have the integrity to step out of public office Neither you nor I know the truth with Herman Cain.
