bonnie Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 President and Mrs. Obama pledging alliegence to the American flag. This is some kind of a joke right? Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman

Woody Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 President and Mrs. Obama pledging alliegence to the American flag. Thanks John. This is shocking. But not surprising. There are lots of things about the Obamas that are swept under the rug. This is confirmation. Appreciate the post. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. bonnie Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 Watch the video http://abcnews.go.com/Video/playerIndex?id=3759803. Obama in full color without hand over heart.School children used to know better http://www.truthorfiction.com/rumors/o/obama-salute.htm Summary of the eRumor: A picture of Senator Barack Obama (below), Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico, Senator Hillary Clinton, and one other person all on a platform and backed by an American flag. The eRumor says that the National Anthem was being played at the time and that all but Senator Obama saluted. The Truth: The picture is authentic. It was published in Time magazine and was taken 9/16/07 at an event in Indianola, Iowa where six Democratic presidential candidates appeared. It was Iowa Senator Tom Harkin's annual "meat and greet." The fourth person in the picture is Senator Harkin's wife, Ruth. Not seen in the picture are three other candidates who were standing out of view on the right side of the platform, Senator Chris Dodd, Senator John Edwards, Senator Joe Biden. At question is what was going on with Senator Obama? His critics are circulating the picture and saying that he is not respecting the flag or the National Anthem, especially since the protocol, according to the United States Flag code, is that civilians should have their right hands over their hearts and that they should be facing the flag. His supporters are saying that this little lapse should not be held against him since there have been plenty of other events at which he has saluted the flag---so it did not mean that he would, in principle, avoid doing it. Some supporters have suggested that perhaps the picture does not tell the whole story and that he may have raised his hand shortly after it was taken. An ABC News video, however, shows that Senator Obama did not salute at any time during the Anthem and that everybody else on the platform did. A spokesperson for the Senator told Fox News that it was ridiculous to suggest that Obama was making any kind of a statement and that sometimes "he does and sometimes he doesn't place his hand over his heart during the National Anthem." Dr. Shane Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 At the time the Obama-haters were circulating the picture on the internet I saw a site exposing it as a fraud. Of course the hatred of the anti-Obama crowd is even more offensive than a guy not placing his hand on his heart during a song. If given the choice, I would rather be in Obama's shoes than those of the haters. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity

Why does this not surprise me? After 9-11 he didn't agree to wearing a flag pin yet many Americans voted for him. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Of course the hatred of the anti-Obama crowd is even more offensive than a guy not placing his hand on his heart during a song. If given the choice, I would rather be in Obama's shoes than those of the haters. "You saw a site exp[osing as fraud"? How does that make you one bit different than those that saw a site placing wrong hand over heart? But "seeing a site" is not quite the reason you gave for "knowing it was a fraud". This is what you said.....This was popular during the 2008 campaign but was quickly exposed. I suspected it was photo-shopped the first time I saw it. There are so many tell-tale signs. Was the Time magazine circulating it as part of "hate Obama"? What are the many tell tale signs that caused you to suspect it was photo shopped first time you saw it You are the one that refers to hate all the time. Most that strongly disagree with "your independent thinking" are accused of hate" while independently name calling. Obama has shown himself to have distaste for the country he is elected to lead. His last "Teddy Roosevelt" speech showed that clearly. Obama is the one that works overtime trying to divide this country while he and his party yammer about civility. Obama's party is the one that tells those that disagree to go "straight to h%$&,without one word from the leader of that party and this country. Many of us do detest everything this man has done and is attempting to do to this country. That is different than hating the man Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Obama doesn't even look like he belongs in the picture. It looks like it was a cut-and-paste job. Of course he looks like he doesn't belong. That has nothing to do with the fact the pic is authentic. bonnie Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 Is it that big of a deal? I think the Obama-haters work double time to make an issue of minor and insignificant things when there are much bigger issues we should worry about. Actually it was not that big of a deal until you made it one. Claiming the photo was a fake and you of course knew it from the beginning, then going on with your "hate speech" This is another photo-shopped picture. This was popular during the 2008 campaign but was quickly exposed. I suspected it was photo-shopped the first time I saw it. There are so many tell-tale signs. It was not quickly exposed and you were wrong. Obama's attitude and words concerning the US are a big deal and sometimes pictures are better than all his teleprompter recitations. Dr. Shane Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Actually it was not that big of a deal until you made it one. Oh no. I didn't make it a big deal. The Obama hate-mongers were circulating this picture during the 2008 campaign in a frenzied paranoia. Just looking at it, it looks fake. But it certainly wasn't me that made a big deal about it. Really? There you go with the "hate speech" again. Labeling and name calling all that disagree with you. Obama does generally look fake when he tries for the look of authenticity and respect for the country he claims to lead. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make.
