WASHINGTON - The Bush administration said Friday that it would enforce a nearly 3-year-old federal law that requires doctors to attempt to keep alive a fetus that survives an abortion.

What utterly screwed up stupid values the Bush administration has.

They are proposing wasting millions of dollars on a proposal like this, but don't want to fund much higher ROI healthcare for healthy poor children.

Anything to pump dollars from the poor to the wealthy.

Three more years of looting.

Absolutely. If the nasty little buggers survive the first attempt to terminate them, we oughta just stomp 'em into submission. Or perhaps starve them into euphoric death. Given their level of development, shouldn't take two weeks.

That would definitely be a non-screwed-up value.

And let's stop this giant funneling sound. The very idea! Everyone can see that letting people keep their own money is immoral. A righteous society must confiscate its citizens money at gunpoint and do good with it.

I'm with you man. Gotta stop this let-them-keep-their-own-money looting and replace it with righteous government confiscation, so our betters can show us how it should be spent!

Absolutely! Don't dare let Bush-the-Beast of Revelation force his screwed-up values on us. Much better to force our values on others.

You're so right. Screwed up, man, screwed up.

Who is going to pay for the medical care?

Not the parents - they don't have the $1M plus.

Not the doctor or hospital - they will pass the costs on.

Not the insurance companies or government - they will pass the costs on.

It is the workers who are paying the premiums and the taxes.

If the same amount of money Bush is planning on spending on one extremely premature baby were spent instead on dealing with poverity stricken children in American slums, many MORE lives would be saved. If it were spent in Africa, hundreds of lives would be saved.

That is why it is stupid. It does not even achieve its claimed goal of saving lives.

Of course, the above actually requires intelligent analysis. When the Bush administration does that, it focuses on getting reelected and funnelling money from the poor to the rich.

Let the looting continue.

Hey, I'm with you.

You're right, if it doesn't save their lives, it's wasted money.

How much are those kids worth, anyway.

And just today I read that the USA and Europe have funneled $187 billion in aid for Africa. Let's save those poverty-stricken children. I suppose if we just divided the money up evenly, they wouldn't be in poverty anymore. But we can't do that. Gotta let benevolent government keep up its enlightened, intelligent effort to save those children. It's working well so far. And, with a total price tag of $187 billion one year alone, those kids have to be worth a lot more than a blob of tissue no one wants anyway.

Go for it! Values we can calculate! Now, there's a moral crusade.
