Pleading with Obama

Today - Republican leaders met with Obama and pleaded with him not to allow a tax increase on American tax payers come Jan. 1st. Let's pray they are successful.

The American public is solidly behind the Republicans on this one. They DO NOT want politics as usual which is what the Demos want.

For those of you not in the know on this one - According to the news - the Republicans are demanding that this get settled once and for all. They are demanding that the American public get a one year extension of the tax cuts. The Demos on the other hand want it only for two months and then they want to come back and argue more and more and more. Arguing is what they love. The Republicans are sick and tired of politics as usual. So, they are putting their foot down.

This issue is so crystal clear - it should take Obama out of office.

Let Obama know that you are behind the Republicans on this one.

I don't think a two-month extension makes any sense. That really is just setting things up to argue later. Of course, I am not in favor of the tax cut. I think it undermines Social Security. I do, however, think the reimbursements for doctors needs to be dealt with and that is also part of this bill.
