olger Posted December 25, 2011 Author Posted December 25, 2011 On Christmass morning, the fruitcake rises out of the earth amidst the fog, striking terror & awe in the hearts of common people. Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
Guest Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 Rumor has it that there was fruitcake inside that big Trojan horse that all those men were hiding in. The belief is, that just before the men came out of the horse, they handed out the fruitcake first, to one of the townspeople. And this is what helped them bring down the city. I don't know all the details. Quote

olger Posted December 25, 2011 Author Posted December 25, 2011 It was fruitcake that caused the fall of Rome anyway. Nero tripped over said morsel and knocked a lantern into the wood pile. Bubonic Plague was the result of millions of people taking a nibble of the solitary fruitcake and spreading germs around. The Johnstown Flood was caused by a fruitcake falling off the shelf and striking a faucet in Altoona. Truly you should have known... Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."
olger Posted December 25, 2011 Author Posted December 25, 2011 OLGER IT is almost like the fruitcake that stole Christmas or something like that dgrimm60 Quote "Please don't feed the drama queens.."

Guest Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 FRUITCAKE by F.R. Duplantier A fruitcake came one day And I sent it on its way. The next day, then, It was back again, But here it cannot stay. I sent it to one brother, Who sent it to another. Eventually It came back to me, In a package from my mother. I sent it to a friend – At least, he was ’til then. He sent it back With a caustic crack And we never spoke again. I sent it to my boss And signed it “Santa Claus.” My name he guessed And readdressed That spice-baked albatross. I sent it to a client, Who proved to be defiant: It seems the space In his office place Is fruitcake noncompliant. I picked someone at random In hopes that he could stand ‘em. It was returned: Somehow he’d learned I was the Fruitcake Phantom. If a fruitcake comes today, I think I’ll let it stay. It’s crystal clear Its place is here – And I must move away. Quote
