Stan Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Just thinking of those who are dreading this Sunday. Those who have lost a parent, a spouse or worse yet a child and the whole situation on Sunday will be different. Am so sorry for your loss. I do know what it is like to hurt, and it is ok to weep. Moderators Nan Posted December 24, 2011 Moderators Posted December 24, 2011 It has been a bad year for losing people....no one in my immediate family but many friends who will be aware of an empty chair tomorrow... Quote
whatisthis Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 I figured it out. I just want to add, if you lost someone, like for instance a child, which I did, remember, it's okay to feel like you would never even want the hurt to go away, that it should stay to honor them. It always will stay. Other things will come into your life, it-- it won't go away ever. You won't forget, the love, which is the real thing you don't want to lose won't diminish. God's love will surround you and your pain. It's kind of like this event can somehow be a pearl. The person's life will not lose meaning, and you are not alone. Quote more later

We will all be reunited at Jesus' the Second Coming. Our loved ones rest in him until that time.
