Don't know if they voted or if it was just imposed upon them. Of course - I heard about this on Fox News if that means anything to anyone. My question is - How do you prepare for the Sabbath if you skip Preparation Day? And when they DO go to church - will it actually be Sunday? Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. SDAs are mentioned in the Reuters news article I read, as being divided on whether to keep Saturday or Sunday because of this change. Quote LD

This must be a most difficult decision - to decide which day the Adventists want to worship on - Saturday or Sunday. I can imagine it might split the church down the middle on that island. Keeping Sabbath in a round world has always been a dilemma in more modern times. When flying internationally, it is possible to either skip most of Sabbath or have a very long Sabbath. I've done both. LD I am sure it must be far more complicated than my brain can see. But in my mind - you have to go along with whatever the local time is. We miss this one Sabbath and than the week goes back to being the 7 days again where the Sabbath is the 7th day. What's the problem? I see none at all. There was a fuss in the Marshall Islands when they changed the day - and so you had SDAs going to church -- some on the new Sunday (was the old Saturday) and some on the New Saturday since it was to be called Saturday. There's really nothing that should hinder the week from being the same 7 day week that they have in that time zone!! You worship with all the others that worship on Sabbath.
