12tribes Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 I asked this question on another thread but, received no answer. I have always asked this to people who say that the king of the north is the Papacy with either no response or a guess How can the Papacy be the king of the north when the king of the north comes to an end at the start of the time of trouble? While the Papacy are there till the end. Daniel 11:45 (45) And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. Daniel 12:1 (1) And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. I asked this question before but, received no answer. I hope I receive an answer this time. Quote Galatians 3:29(29) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
12tribes Posted January 5, 2012 Author Posted January 5, 2012 This shows that the Papacy cannot be the King of the north for according to the verses shown the king of the north comes to an end at the close of probation at the beginning of the time of trouble, while the Papacy do not come to an end at that time they come to an end when Jesus returns. Islam have already built their tabernacle on the glorious holy mountain in the dome of the rock Quote Galatians 3:29(29) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
Aussiemike Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 From what i read here it seems that Michael stands up when the king of the North plants his palace between the seas. His coming to an end describes the ultimate destiny of the King but not the timing of it. Quote
