He can also reach across party lines and get things done. But he has character issues. I would like to see some consistency and character in the President of the US. I know of NO one on either side who would meet that qualification. ANd even if I did - I am of the belief that "power corrupts". I just haven't been impressed with his inability to work with those he disagrees with and lead those that supposedly agree with him. I believe President G.W. Bush also had character and consistency. I didn't agree with everything he did but he was consistent and I believe he always did what he believed was right - even if I and others disagreed. President Clinton... well, let's not go there.
