Members phkrause Posted January 5, 2012 Author Members Posted January 5, 2012 Is this a good thing for Romney??? Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Moderators Bravus Posted January 5, 2012 Moderators Posted January 5, 2012 Bearing in mind Shane's (excellent) 'ideological warning' post, let's balance up that Newsmax with some Salon: http://www.salon.com/2012/01/04/john_mccains_grudge_politics/ FWIW, I think Kornacki is reaching a bit here and that McCain does likely think Romney is the best candidate. Members phkrause Posted January 5, 2012 Author Members Posted January 5, 2012 A very interesting article Bravus. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Dr. Shane Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 I think Kornacki is reaching a bit here I don't think he is reaching too far. McCain has serious character flaws which is one of the reason I couldn't vote for him in 2008. I have not been impressed with Obama's governing style but can't say that any of his character flaws have been so bad that they came to light since he has been President. That said, since McCain won NH in 2008, his endorsement of Romney will probably help Romney in NH. I am not too sure it will help much outside of NH. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Woody Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 The only possible reason McCain could like Romney is because he is thought to be the most electible. So, that does make me think twice about my support of Santorum. Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
