Administrators Gail Posted January 5, 2012 Administrators Posted January 5, 2012 Here: GYC 2011 I love Eugene Prewitt's sermons ALWAYS! Can anyone else recommend some speakers? Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Administrators Gail Posted January 5, 2012 Author Administrators Posted January 5, 2012 It looks like Eugene was not at this year's, but the sermon I just listened to was great nonetheless! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

BobRyan Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Here: GYC 2011 I love Eugene Prewitt's sermons ALWAYS! Can anyone else recommend some speakers? GYC always has an outstanding group of speakers. P. Gerard Damsteegt is excellent. Find a number of his talks on page 2 of your link above. Administrators Gail Posted January 6, 2012 Author Administrators Posted January 6, 2012 I was impressed by Dwayne lemon. I've heard him before and enjoyed him, too Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Peace Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 GYC 2011 topped the chart with over 4,000 registered attendees. By Sabbath morning there were around 7,500. Young and vibrant Charissa Fong from Sydney,Australia, was the morning devotional speaker and she was excellent. The evening devotional was presented by Kameron DeVasher. Another very excellent speaker. He emphasized that the primary role of the Holy Spirit is not to make you more powerful but to be more Christlike. Plenty of good seminars to choose from. David Asscherick always has a full house. Ivor Myers is another popular one. So are Stephen Bohr, Dwayne Lemon, etc. Outreach has always been the highlight of GYC. 55 bus loads of young people went into the heart of Houston and knocked on doors. They witnessed to bus drivers, police, and also discouraged a man from his plan to murder his x-wife that day. Over 2,000 Bible study requests came in and about 30,000 GLOW tracts were distributed. The next GYC will be held in Seattle, Washington. So, start saving your shekels. Quote

And pretty humble too, unless he's attack, than he can get a little preterbed(sp), but still keep his cool.
