Dr. Shane Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 You almost had it. You were so close you could taste it. Too bad so sad. Guess you shouldn't have been cheating on your wife while she was being treated for cancer. What in the world made you think you could possibly get the nomination of the Republican Party? Don't act like a Democrat and think you can be a Republican. Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity

Moderators lazarus Posted January 11, 2012 Moderators Posted January 11, 2012 Pretty sad when Ron Paul has more delegates that the former two-time adulterer, Speaker of the House, next-President wanna-be. The reality is that more and more people are waking up to the issues that he (Ron Paul) speaks about. He's is on point. He speaks the truth. Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. Einstein
bonnie Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Too bad so sad. Guess you shouldn't have been cheating on your wife while she was being treated for cancer. There is always consequences to actions,Good or bad. I am glad for Newts sake, if sincere repentance and everyone else's,even yours, that God is not going to be standing there saying with such relish,Guess you shouldn't have done XYZ,To bad for you. Glad my family has never had to deal with fellow church members or pastors that exhibit so much "christianity" Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument, or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make, period ... ... Wish more people would realize this. Quotes by Susan Gottesman

bonnie Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 If a man will not keep a contract with a woman he has had children with, why should we trust him to do anything he promises us while running for election? For a man that frequently asks WWJD you don't seem to understand the answer that you keep asking It was a dispicable act,no doubt about it. If he has repented and from all appearances we have to go by he has what is your answer to WWJD There is plenty to go after Newt for. This glee, this is what you get type thing for something we are told Christ would forgive if it isn't just words says a lot Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Dr. Shane Posted January 13, 2012 Author Posted January 13, 2012 His conversion was in 2009! Moreover, even with a renewed heart, his flesh is still weak. Let's not have another adulterer in the White House. Do we really need to go there? Quote Pastoral Family Counselor... Find me at www.PostumCafe.com Author of Peculiar Christianity
bonnie Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 His conversion was in 2009! Moreover, even with a renewed heart, his flesh is still weak. Let's not have another adulterer in the White House. Do we really need to go there? My husband and I are friends with another couple.Have been since our high school days. For whatever reason he went thru a period of dispicable behavior including beating his wife. While we didn't turn our back on him it certainly had an impact on our friendship. Is life has completely turned around,he sked forgivness from those of us he had hurt so badly, but more impotantly God and his wife. He has failed at a couple of things he wanted very badly.I can't imagine laughing at him and saying,To bad,So Sad,You almost had it. You were so close you could taste it. Too bad so sadMaybe I don't know WWJD either, but somehow I don't think that is it.Nor can I imagine telling our friend, come back later your conversion hasn't been long enough.
