Moderators Kevin H Posted January 18, 2012 Moderators Posted January 18, 2012 I just got this message on Facebook, I'd like to encourage anyone who is able to attend to go, a tour of Israel with Dr. Jim Fleming. I went over semester break in the 1983-84 school year and it was one of the most influential trips of my life which I daily praise God that I was able to particapate in: Biblical Resources, LLC Dear friends, I will be guiding a group to Israel in May 6-19, 2012, want to join me for the trip? www.explorationsinantiquity.com, or www.biblicalresources.net, Quote
Members phkrause Posted January 18, 2012 Members Posted January 18, 2012 That would be awesome. I've always wanted to go. But unfortunately a lack of funds will end that right now. I also noticed that 3abn has been getting a group together Kevin, are they going at the same time? Or is this the same group? Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Administrators Naomi Posted January 18, 2012 Administrators Posted January 18, 2012 Would be fantastic. Do we know anyone from C/A who is going? I have been to Tel Aviv but did not make it to Jerusalem. Would love to go. Finances and a restrictive job keeps me homebound for the moment Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God

Dr. Fleming is a Methodist Archologist, he has taught at Jerusalem's Hebrew University. He is a moderate theologian and very much on the cutting edge of Biblical studies. He is my second most impressive of all the religion professors I've studies with or heard (and with haveing studied with people like Richard Davidson, William Shea, Graham Maxwell, etc. etc this is really saying a lot) I took one of his tours on semester break the 1983 - 84 school year and it was one of the greatest events I ever expirenced, on my daily prase to God. If you can't go on any of his trips, see if you can get to Georga and visit his museum (which I still have to do) Quote
