Neil D Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 When you logged in, what ads did you see? right now, on the left, under 'sponsored links' I see this pretty 20 something girl with a backpack, and a triangular arrow pointing to the right.....hovering over the arrow, I get the words "ad choices"..... one level up, i got an ad about Newt Gingrich and at the top of the C/A bar, I got an ad for how much money I could get if I went back to school... According to TED, these ads are placed here and targeted specifically to me because somehow, the computer thinks I like this stuff or am a likely canadate to use these services...[actually, I am wondering where all the dating ads went to???] anyways, was curious if you are getting the same thing or if you see something different? Right now I got a papa johns ad on the top and one on the right. Also under the papa johns on the right side I have one for amazon.com. Not sure what your getting at? That is based on content and where you go and what is in your cookies.. You can imagine how awkward it can be one people ask my why this is full of Lesbian Ads, I have never seen one...
