I have to agree, but according to some its getting oh so much better! And I would have to say that yes there are many more people than in years past. In certain areas things are better, like technology in many areas, gadgets, medical, but most other areas I don't see that at all. PK, In the ancient times and dark ages human slave trade was as common as your local grocery store. It was legal. It was moral. Young women would be sold as essentially sex slaves all around the globe. Slavery, and sex slavery criminalization and abolishment is actually a recent development. While there are plenty of countries that lag behind, I think it's undeniable that as a whole, humanity had tremendous improvement in that area.
