I don't think that you are being accurate here, Shane.

I may be wrong on this, but I think what we have said here is that there is NO ONE who hates Bush here on C/A. . And this has been in response to YOUR accusations of our critisms of Bush. And which is, quite honestly, getting tiresome and truely grotest in your advancing an untruth.

What is the difference between the Randi Rhodes show and Rush Limbaugh? Nothing, except that they are both entertainment shows using political commentary as thier format. Rush Limbaugh has done similar things when he was starting out during the Clinton years and before...So, there is nothing new here.

Randi Rhodes is a bit crass in my opinion and I don't like listening to her and I have found that she does get her facts a bit mixed, and as a result, I don't like listening to her. Nothing against her personally, but she doesn't appeal to me.

So, drop the "hate" speach here, Shane...As usual, you are promoting ugliness and claiming that it is the norm....And it is not.

Well, Rush Limbaugh hasn't made jokes about killing a President. Another big difference is the number of listeners that tune into the respective programs.

Also remember, most that read these threads do not post. So we have no idea if there are hate-filled people here at Club Adventist. Let's not say anything that would be precieved as hatred.

First off, tastless jokes in the entertainment industry are everywhere, Shane. The fact that the Randi Rhodes show made it onto the radar screen of the White House just goes to show that the producers did NOT realize how popular thier show was until now. The fact that they have gotten onto the Drudge Report also shows that Randi Rhodes is more popular that what I even gave her credit for....And with you creating a big stink about it, it's gonna cause others here to question "Who is Randi Rhodes? And does she really have a message for all of this?" [i have to admit, her "bouncing boobies" routine was rather amusing]. But since I don't like to listen to her, I have not heard the skit that was placed on the program.

And Shane, the tastless SKIT was less than a minute of air time....At which point, according to Drudge, Randi questioned the skit with "What's with all the shooting?".

Granted, she laughed, but I suspect she laughed out of respect for the producers of the skit....

And what is it with you in which to PRESUME that there are "hate-filled people here at Club Adventist"? As a moderator, I would expect you to have access to information to the AVERAGE SDA and non-SDA user on this board. Concidering that you ASSUME, by your posting, that there ARE those types of people who frequent this place, this says VOLUMES about you and in your position as MODERATOR of c/a, you bring the reputation of c/a into disrepute. Luckily, my experience with the administration of this board presumes another assumption that of the good intentions of the AVERAGE USER of this board.

And, to be totally honest, your assumption is totally assinine...How dare you, with your insensitivity, make assumptions about the Adventist people [and other users of this BBS] that are indicative of a base nature.

The problem Shane, is that this same stupid assumption has come out of your mouth on more than one occassion...Luckily, there are some of us who will NOT let you get away with this hate fill assumption....

I suspect the Bush Administration has someone listening to Air America everyday just as the Clinton Administration had someone listening to conservative talk radio everyday. It is no big accomplishment of any program that the Secret Service picks up on them joking about killing the President. I believe this happened on Politically Incorrect too.

Furthermore, we know there are people that come here that hate Adventists. That is nothing new. Hate tends to be like body odor - everyone around you knows you have it before you do.
