Yes, there is clearly a coordinated attack on Gingrich. Many in Republican leadership not only believe that Obama will beat Gingrich, but that with Gingrich at the top of the ticket the GOP will lose control of the House of Representatives and the Democrats will win back their super majority in the US Senate. What I'm saying is, there complaining that Romney is trashing Newt, but so are Reagan and Rush bashing Romney. And I'd also say that Romney is as conservative as Newt.
