Nicole Batten Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Pacific Press has launched an electronic newsletter called Adventist Parenting to reach out to parents within the church. There is nothing like it available today. Each issue of Adventist Parenting will address issues of family faith and offer practical advice by age category to help Adventist Parents raise confident, God-centered kids. Adventist Parenting will help answer questions like: How do I balance work, home, and church? Am I parenting my kids the best that I can? How do I share my faith with my kids? How do I find the right parenting resources with so much information available out there and so little time? It also points parents to resources to help answer their questions about topics such as instilling values like honesty and kindness, building their child's self-esteem, developing their child's relationship with Jesus, disciplining their child, as well as uniquely Adventist topics such as making Sabbath fun for them and their child. To subscribe to this monthly electronic newsletter, email []AdventistParenting@pacificpress.com[/] or go to www.pacificpress.com, click on 'newsroom, then click on 'newsletters.' Its free! Quote
Nicodema Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Too bad they don't have an archive online that can be read from their website -- I prefer to do that rather than subscribe to things because I get so much email already that it would probably not get read that way. Moderators james423 Posted April 29, 2005 Moderators Posted April 29, 2005 Thanks for the information. I forwarded it to my daughter who is in the process of raising one lively (and partly deaf) son. Quote James Brenneman
