Administrators Naomi Posted January 30, 2012 Administrators Posted January 30, 2012 I was playing this last evening and woke this morning with it on my mind. I used to love it so much when they would use it for SS and remember mother singing it with great feeling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have heard of a land on the faraway strand, ’Tis a beautiful home of the soul; Built by Jesus on high, where we never shall die, ’Tis a land where we never grow old. Refrain: Never grow old, never grow old, In a land where we’ll never grow old; Never grow old, never grow old, In a land where we’ll never grow old. In that beautiful home where we’ll never more roam, We shall be in the sweet by and by; Happy praise to the King through eternity sing, ’Tis a land where we never shall die. When our work here is done and the life-crown is won, And our troubles and trials are o’er; All our sorrow will end, and our voices will blend, With the loved ones who’ve gone on before. Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God

Members phkrause Posted January 31, 2012 Members Posted January 31, 2012 I like that one, you don't hear it much, if at all anymore. Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Administrators Naomi Posted January 31, 2012 Author Administrators Posted January 31, 2012 No, haven't heard it in church for a long time. Sometimes I just go to the piano and start at one end of the hymnal and play whatever is on the pages. That one just stuck with me today. Glad you liked it Quote If your dreams are not big enough to scare you, they are not big enough for God
