Dr. Rich Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Martin Luther was wrong about many thing and this is just one of them. Remember, at the time he wrote what he did, NO ONE knew the difference between a 'wheat' and a 'tare'. Reading what he wrote one can now see that they do NOT agree with the the words of Jesus. Quote
Woody Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 Praise God they agree with the words of our prophet and the words of the Bible that I accept. (ALL of scripture as a whole) Quote May we be one so that the world may be won. Christian from the cradle to the grave I believe in Hematology.
Dr. Rich Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Praise God they agree with the words of our prophet and the words of the Bible that I accept. (ALL of scripture as a whole) And I suppose Jesus read Romans, 1st and 2nd Corinthians and Galatians as "scripture" when He taught in the Synagogue on Sabbath? LOL! It was over 300 years later when Constitine unionized religion and politics by giving them a 'book' that is now mistakenly called "scripture" so that people could pick and chose which doctrine they liked because it made them feel good. I say the time is soon coming that this again will happen when people will make fun of all of the different doctrines (re:family guy) and attempt to unionize christianity into ONE religious and political 'body' saying all of them are the 'body of Christ'. Isn't that a picture of the first beast of Revelation 13? Leopard=helenistic=unionized religion Quote
Gibs Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 But Martin Luther isn't the authority on the subject and you just posted a "bit" of what he wrote. The words of Jesus ring in my ears when I hear just short clips like this and His short clip was, Joh 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. That says so much most can't comprehend it all! 1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
