Hostile Pagan Spirituality?

Although pagan spirituality is hostile to Biblical Christianity

This was posted in another thread, and rather than derail that one I thought it could be discussed on its own.

Now I wonder on two points here.

1. Why would it be considered hostile? That seems to be an odd choice of words. Different perhaps, but hostile I don't see. Of course there are pagans that are hostile towards christianity, as there are christians that are hostile towards paganism. But overall I don't see hostility in the pagan community.

2. Pagan spirituality. Which one? Pagan is not a religion. It is an umbrella term that encompasses many different religions whose theology often differs as much from the others as it does from Christianity.

Paganism is a broad term and takes in much of the peoples of earth. It infiltrated Christianity and tries to destroy it.

It definitely is an enemy of TRUE Christianity. Is not an enemy a hostile one.

There is one following though it cannot prevail against and that is the Church Jesus Christ established upon Himself, the Head, the Organizer, the Sender and Ordainer of those to Preach the TRUE gospel into all the world.

All but this one has fallen, the rest the gates of HELL have prevailed against.

In my see of it only True Christianity is the one not hostile, it begs all to come to Him and be saved and find His Salvation through that "strait" gate and narrow path that HE lights with His indwelling Spirit. He is the light of the world, He lights the only Way to Salvation. It is not Grievious but is shunned. Why, oh Why is my cry!

Col 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

1Jo 4:4 ¶ Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Is that what you think I am trying to do here at CA Gibs? Infiltrate and destroy?

Here is a bit of a news flash. 99.9% of pagans could give a flying leap about Christians being Christians. There is no desire to destroy Christianity. Just a hope that you all can learn to respect the right to worship differently than you do.

I do not think that all Christians, obviously disagreeing with pagan religions, disrespect that right. Some do and some don't. What I do find however in overwhelming amounts is a disrespect of the difference itself. Based mostly in ignorance.
