Woody,we all should know what is coming in the future.While we don't know exactly what issue will be the tipping point we do know or should that a certain amount of conditioning will have to occur before we are faced with end time events.The Sabbath decree could not happen quite yet. There are still enough that would rise up against that.But bit by bit many are lulled by the love of bigger and bigger government. Many do not see the danger with the current so called reproductive rights issue. Actually seeing the logic of the government having a right to demand a company give free services as a right.

The catholic church slept with the devil for years on other issues and now seemed surprised when the devil wants his dues.

It will be true in many other area's as well and many SDA's will be going "Yes,give us our rights big brother"

Rights to free cell phone service,rights for a state agent to

check your child's lunch,rights for a government to force banks to actually write down principal on a mortgage etc. Poverty and health care are now the new fad words.If you are so called poor the solution is give to you more and more,and take more and more from others.Bring down the health care so more are at minimal standards to equal it out.Give a panel of 15,not Dr's to determine the level of care you deserve.Cost effective of course.

Democrats believe everyone is entitled to health care regardless of their ability to pay. Republicans believe everyone is entitled to jack squat if they can’t pay for health care

I would love to see all countries that have benefitted from US medical technology step up and pay their portion of the research before being allowed to use it.Paying their own countries way with the drugs they disperse.

I would like to see other countries giving timely medical care to "the least among them" as well as they receive here.

I would like my niece in the UK suffering from Neurofibromatosis not have to wait until the tumor is so large she is confined to bed to have it removed again.

Another family member coming from Canada for a timely hip replacement because she is in so much pain she is pretty much confined to a wheelchair and cannot wait the many weeks she has to go yet.A friend of mine in the medical utopia of Australia is still waiting for back surgery and has up to six months yet to wait.Maybe because she is retired and doesn't contribute much to the government coffers she can wait on the back burner.

In contrast,after a Dr's appointment yesterday my husband will be seeing a specialist.A couple of days and he has his appt.That will change of course when Obamacare is fully implemented

Liberals/Progressives typically consider anyone to the right of them as conservative and conservatives typically perceive anyone to the left of themselves as being liberal. A good example was the observation of an extreme ultra right wing commentator that considered George W. Bush to have been too liberal.

So to observe that this forum is "vastly liberal" and that all but 3-4 around here are liberal only demonstrates a perspective extremely far to the right.

And I don't think Bravus would be insulted by the counter-point to that to suggest that a person with a left leaning progressive perspective would consider this place to have an "overwhelmingly conservative tone".

Those that want government intervention and government handouts for almost every wrong decision a person makes is a liberal.

Being far to the right to you is the unheard of idea that people actually should take as much personal responsibility for themselves and families as possible.

Far right is the unheard of idea that a family could actually purchase their own birth control. Liberal is expecting the government or business to provide "free birth control" or they are being denied their reproductive rights.

Could you please show us a number of examples of this? Not being a conservative or a liberal myself, or should I say a Republican or Democrat, because that's really what you mean? Is it not? Because there are conservatives and liberals in many different phases of life which have absolutely nothing to do with the destructive world of politics! Am I right?? You being one example of being a conservative republican and a liberal SDA, or did I get that wrong? If I did I apologize.

I find labels boring for I don't really fit in any box that labels or others would want to apply. And examples? They are here for anyone with eyes to see. But my choice is to remain positive. I have no desire to give those destructive postings more air time.
