If McDonald's has done their market research and determined they can run a successful restaurant there, why should anyone try to stop them? We need to win the hearts and minds of others and not force their behavior by limiting their choices. McDonald's may offer their burgers with a vege-pattie. I think they already offer a side salad as an optional replacement for french fries. If they would start offering a whole wheat bun it could almost be considered a health-food restaurant. Especially a number of pizza places. That's because most of the population is not SDA and many hospital employees aren't SDA either. It has changed a lot over the last 25 years or so. Still a great place to live. Moderators LynnDel Posted February 25, 2012 Moderators Posted February 25, 2012 Any burger place I've been to here in California, even though far from SDA populations, has always given me a vegeburger, even when it's not listed on their menu. I usually ask what brand they use, and if it's a Garden Burger, I ask them to make it very well done, otherwise the texture is like leftover oatmeal. Quote LD
