If you are referring to her resigning as governor, that was to her credit. It should be noted that the reason she was attacked by so many legal battles as governor is because of one of the reforms she enacted as governor. She wanted to make politicians in Alaska more accountable to the votes so she made it easier for them to sue public officials. Then her enemies used that very legislation to essentially oust her from office. She had so many law suits filed against her, all her staff was just having to deal with law suits. She couldn't govern. Consequently, after she resigned, the law suits were all settled or dropped in her favor. "Fire in the belly" for Sarah Palin probably means a lot of high-dollar fund raisers for the GOP. She is one of the most sought-after speakers.
